Dr. Jawad Salman grew up in Tinley Park. He graduated from Tinley Park High School in 2011. He went on to attend Saint Xavier University in Chicago with a major in Biology Pre-Med. Dr. Salman graduated with his Doctors in Chiropractic from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. While attaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Salman also received his Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. He specialized in sports and rehab care while in chiropractic school and completed his clinic rotation with Logan University's Human Performance Center. Throughout his clinic rotation Dr. Salman worked with members of the St. Louis Cardinals, Harris Stowe University, and USA Paralympic Powerlifting. At Logan University, he became certified in 6 chiropractic techniques, Rock Tape Functional Movement Techniques, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. Dr. Salman has attended numerous seminars focused on manual therapy and functional rehabilitation, utilizing the best from each of them to incorporate in his treatment approach. He currently is working towards becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and completing certification in Dry Needling. Dr. Salman believes chiropractic should be the first step in helping patients improve movement, function and pain. He focuses on the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries via chiropractic care and rehabilitation to help patients get back in control of their own health. He is motivated and ready to serve the Sports and Spine family and Lincoln-Way community.
